Testable Monitoring Documentation
Testable Monitoring helps teams watch websites, APIs, infrastructure, background jobs, private services, and user journeys from Testable-hosted or self-hosted runners. It combines monitor checks, heartbeat pings, incidents, metrics, comments, maintenance windows, status pages, and notifications in one workflow.
Core Capabilities
- Monitor types - HTTP, Ping, Port, Heartbeat, and Custom scenario monitors.
- Private and public monitoring - Use hosted runners for public services or self-hosted runners for private networks.
- Incident management - Configure failure and recovery thresholds, confirmation checks, and type-specific diagnostics.
- Metrics and charts - Review uptime, response timing, success percentages, assertions, custom scenario metrics, and heartbeat metrics.
- Status pages - Publish public or private service health with branding, history controls, announcements, subscribers, and calendar export.
- Maintenance windows - Mark planned downtime and associate it with monitors, folders, groups, or tags.
- Notifications and collaboration - Alert on incidents, check success, comments, SSL expiry, and domain expiry.
